I'm playing it on Steam (with patches to keep it from crashing all the time), and I have a lot of very mixed thoughts about it. The combat is definitely one of the high points for me, though.

I got to chapter 12 in FFXIII, and I'm having fun again. Chapter 11 was a miserable slog, and if I weren't trying to complete all the Final Fantasy games I hadn't played yet, I would have dropped it there. I'm glad I stuck it out, though.

Despite not having played Scarlet and Violet, Miraidon still became one of my favorite pokemon ever (cause it's both a Mecha AND a dragon, of course)
The model kit required a bit of work to erase all the seams before painting, but it was well worth it

The first gunpla I ever painted to the most recent. People say to me that they’re afraid to try painting and all I can say is you just gotta try. You’re going to make mistakes, you’re going to do things wrong, but I promise you you get better and you learn. I hated my first paint job.

dry-brushed inner frame, fully shaded and painted armor and equipment, panel lined, decals, and matte varnish (gloss on the beam blade).

A photograph of Plum's 1/35 Assault Suit Leynos. Taken outdoors in reflected sunlight so the kit is lit well but not harshly. There's a slight blue tinge to the shadows from the early morning light. The photo is taken from a low angle in a garden with concrete, scrub plants and a worn greenhouse frame blurry but visible to give a post industrial nature reclamation vibe. The model kit is a mecha posed in a defiant stance, the kit has been weathered.

Finally got a photo that I feel does this model kit justice.

Tricky build with some bad design choices. Really poor possibility and doesn't allow for a stand / action base. That said, there's some nice sculpted details that really shine with a bit of paint and weathering.

Great Mazinger as a "Metal Head" from Heavy Metal L-Gaim. There is a holster with a lance as a stand-in for Great Mazinger’s sword.

Finally got a couple decent photos of my F91 Madin custom that I painted. I tried to take some ideas from the metal build paint scheme. The yellow was a bit tricky because there were no decals and I had to mask that myself. Really happy with the end result though.

ついでに言うと、HGUC21のガンダムに付属のハイパーバズーカ、そのままだと肩にまともに担げませんが、グリップを一度切断し前方にずらして接着してやると、この様に綺麗に担げますよ。

I remember my biggest problem with FF7 is that materia takes way too long to level up, to the point that you don't get to cast the cool spells with it even by the final boss without heavy grinding.
