Good morning and happy Thursday. Gonna be cashier today, it'll be nice not being on production after all the cooking and prep work is done.

It's so awkward being excited about Fridays. I used to dread them, they'd cause such anxiety. But never again will I need to worry about closing at midnight, being stuck at work until 1am or later. Such a relief.
Finally back to work after nearly a week. Blows my mind that I've actually missed it, never had a job that I truly enjoy until this one.
In about an hour, we continue the saga of The Midnight Watch Party, in which we attempt to get the apothecary opened for business. I'm sure Randy has other plans though, as we're always one bad decision away from becoming less a business and more a cautionary tale.
Morning, gamers! Hope everyone's having a great day, as mine is off to an amusing start. The train I take to work had the wrong header-instead of getting off right outside my work, I'm dropped on the other side of downtown. Fortunately it's a 6 minute free shuttle ride and I happened to leave early.

It gets so god damn exhausting being the only one in the restaurant to give a damn about things... Morning dishes were just left in the sink soaking in cold water with no soap, sanitizer at 100ppm, the solution ran out and nobody thought to ask how to change it, the pans stacked up, not wiped... Ugh

You know, people used to be creative with their prank calls... Now I get at least two calls a night "Yeah gimme fifty pizzas!" and at least one "Do you have Big Macs???"
Why in God's name did the captain assign me two newbies tonight...? Ugh, they're so slow I've cleaned the whole lobby in-between orders.
Really sucks how the one person who is supposed to understand my social battery, especially when it's beyond drained, simply doesn't.
