I just miss the hope the first part of the adventure has before the reaper threat becomes all too real

And what a game! Though profile pic may suggest otherwise, its just an objectively amazing bit of art, the first game will always be my favourite of the series.

Though the older I get the sadder the memories make me feel as i don't think we'll ever have anything like the full series again

He's great and always gives a great performance. Reminiscent of the always magnificent Sam Rockwell or the far too underrated Garret Dillahunt.

Nothing there in is bad because of them and even when in something that isn't great they elevate their scenes.

I like to think it'd be more like copper that almkst dampens it but it fully negates the magnetic effect instead of just dampening.

Its boosts magic but deadens other things entirely.

Thats an excellent point I hadn't thought back to DA2 but it certainly has elements of this.

On reflection I love 2 more and more. Its more personal story of a normal (ish) person was fantastic!

It surprised me with how good it looked! I was going in guarded as its been so long but nope they nailed it.

Even the music was familiar enough to evoke response!

I say the games are there for enjoying, just play what works.

I think 4 is probably the most popular in the series.

We can all argue which is best, and we will, but 4 is lasting well and seems to be well enjoyed by most.

I had a session playing 2 weeks ago where for whatever reason I was amazing.

I think i barely took 2 hits across a few hours including bounties etc.

It was pure bliss but its been back to normality since then sadly haha

I think Yotei is the perfect examples of this. Technically other games look better, even that direct comparison with AC Shadows, but I think Yotei is so much more impactful. I prefer its visual presentation far more
