Another one that didn’t make it. Inspired by some of the Group of Seven painters
A number of artists and creators have made their home on Bluesky, and we hear their concerns with other platforms training on their data. We do not use any of your content to train generative AI, and have no intention of doing so.
What a day!
#DevelopNorth in Liverpool yesterday was superb. It was great to catch-up with so many friends from across the industry!
A big thanks to those involved, and to everyone who stopped by to hear from our Lead Technical Artist, Filipe, and our Head of Engineering, Phil!

Almost done replacing the sprites! The new ones not only feel better but also should convey some attacks a lot better, like the side punches which are now a lot more noticable, whereas previously people didn't even know that it was a distinct attack
I received issue 4 of @apwot.bsky.social yesterday, and this little detail in the feature about Portal absolutely delighted me.
Amazing how a simple hole in a bit of paper can put an enormous smile on your face.
Shelf coming along nicely
Thanks for the add 🙏

Telling people to game jam as an entry point to game industry is so weird in hindsight.

Top down photo of a 16:10 widescreen CRT monitor sitting on a desk. On the computer desktop is a cartoon wallpaper, with instant messenger screen names down the left hand side and some widgets and macOS dock on the bottom and right sides. There is a mid 2000s Apple keyboard on the desk as well as an iPod and a small RCA to FireWire breakout box for encoding analog video through a digital input.
Found a photo of my desk circa January 2005. I was using a friends old SGI-branded Sony Trinitron widescreen CRT at the time. Wish I still had it :( It turned yellow and the R, G and B started to drift apart so I gave it away. Hope it’s in a good home somewhere.
