No joke I was in Carsland tonight with the family at California Adventure and when a single car came through on the street IT WAS CHAOS. I mean admittedly it was cool because it was Lightning McQueen but my point stands. The streets belong to the people!

i was at the padres game last night and apparently there's enough money to close 3 blocks of J street and one block of 8th street for EVERY HOME GAME, but not any money to close 5th. UGH
absolutely moronic! there is zero reason this shouldn't be a two-way protected bike way on the south side of upas. there are no driveways or other nonsense to content with, it's just curb all the way from pershing to alabama except for the intersections at jacaranda and texas.

my only problem with this development is not tearing down the retail space on the first floor. north park has an abundance of vacant retail space so we should get rid of the zoning requirement for ground floor retail and just make more housing units.
We take our e-bike to every little league game and practice at Morley Field in balboa park. the vast majority of folks drive even though they all live in the neighborhood.

Downtown LA to WeHo is roughly the same distance as traversing manhattan from north to south. This part of LA should be as dense as Manhattan with just as many subway lines and transit options. A person can dream!

Still only one lane open SB on the 805. I think caltrans has to make sure the bridge wasn’t damaged by the crash and explosion before fully reopening.
The city should have put in a two way protected bike lane from upas down to A street. There are very few intersections on that side of the road and it would be better than fighting with drivers trying get to the zoo or balboa park near the organ pavilion.
Surrender your license, you are obviously a public safety risk when driving a car.
