I just learned that Karen Pryor, 92, passed away today. She was a giant in my field of animal training (& others). I only met her once, but reading "Don't Shoot the Dog" decades ago changed my life. I admired her curious & quick mind, her fearlessness, her compassion. She leaves an important legacy
It's very sad news about Karen Pryor. She inspired so many to be better dog trainers.
Erika found Reggie in a #SanFrancisco park. She did the right thing and took him to our shelter partner, SF Animal Care and Control, who transferred him to Muttville. Erika is following his journey and plans to cover his adoption fee! Thank you for coming to visit him, Erica!
