Finished my first campaign of 7th continent! Did not even get close to lifting my curse. Had a great time, but only realised during takedown that I had never actually looked at my Clue card... Turns out it had a map on it. That might have helped. 😆

After playing several Awaken Realms campaign games in a row this is such a breath of fresh air. Quick to set up, relatively quick to play! I might like this one a lot...

The first scenario of Kinfire Chronicles set up on the table. Acrylic standees on a map, lots of cards, chits, tokens.

Kinfire Chronicles makes a really good first impression! It eases you into the rules, the scenarios start out short enough as to not be tedious. The way turn "order" is determined is fresh and different: you draw chits from a bag - shows your character? It's your turn!

Oh interesting, I just thought about this a lot when reviewing STALKER the board game... At what point does it just become too tedious to play? How much of the experience can be administrative busy-work before we throw in the towel...
