On Friday we hosted 60 teachers plus speakers for our oracy conference. This sums up the passion + enthusiasm generated by all the attendees during the day. Thank you to everyone for making it such a vibrant + stimulating occasion!

Today I had the pleasure of delivering an assembly on ADHD at my children’s school. This video helped make it accessible for yrs 2-6. Amazing Things, the creators encourage sharing it widely - So please if you are parenting or teaching children with adhd - watch and share.

Last week Andrew McCallum, director of the @engmediacentre.bsky.social came to see how the English department at APS has been developing approaches to Oracy and talk in lessons. He really enjoyed all of the lessons and has reflected on them in this piece.
