Laptop is getting a bit full, may have to see if I can put new ones on the keyboard side. Also just want to say, in a sane society, nothing on here would be considered political.

A friendly reminder that AI platforms like ChatGPT and Claude are essentially crowd-sourced responses. It doesn't inherently give *correct* answers, but rather the ones that are most repeated online. Please, never use LLMs for health-related advice.
Very open to a shift to non-profit data analytics as well.
Totally unrelated, but if anyone has any remote or hybrid job openings in the Twin Cities area for someone with a strong background in python, SQL, Tableau, and data cleaning/reporting and 5+ years of experience in digital marketing, feel free to send them my way.
I'd feel a *ton* better about my new company being an AI cult if it wasn't abundantly clear they have absolutely no idea what they're doing.
Oh look, he deleted the heresy. How long do you suppose until he blames a staffer that he's definitely never met or even heard of for posting it?
Just sayin' the Papacy has survived egomaniacs capable of far more than crying on social media. I don't think the Vatican has much to worry about unless Trump miraculously develops the ability to do more than that.
Legitimately, how is anyone supposed to pretend it's a normal Tuesday when the president of the United States is threatening what is likely nuclear genocide against an entire country?
Always lovely to wake up to your president threatening total genocide. Really depressing that what happens tomorrow will likely come down to whether our military follows the law over orders.
Text reads "Tiny gender-affirming things you dare called micro trans actions. (I'll see myself out)" on a nonbinary pride flag background.
Quality trans pun from @nonbinarymemes.bsky.social.
Also kind of makes me morbidly curious how far right people react to Andor/Daredevil (if they even watch them at all). Do they instead support the Empire/Kingpin or do they somehow have the cognitive dissonance to support Trump/ICE while also supporting the resistance/Daredevil?
I have to wonder if the writers of Daredevil: Born Again had any idea that the AVTF would be such a strong Parallel to ICE. The parallels between the first few episodes of the season and the events in Minneapolis this year are uncanny.
I do think this is an important piece of a broader discussion of how to navigate entertainment when so many major franchises and broadcasters are either run by or have strong ties to objectively terrible people, and the limits of the concept of separating art from artist.
Mildly (but pleasantly) surprised to see anything remotely in the realm of mainstream media being openly blunt about this.
For anyone not already aware, the next nationwide No Kings protest is tomorrow, March 28th. This series of protests is incredibly well organized, with planned locations across the country, so please do check for a protest in your area and attend if you are able.

I honestly love the myriad ways in which people process The Locked Tomb. (Also, I need book 4 now pls, kthxbai).
This is a truly delightful time to be navigating the job market with a preferred name. "Uh...yeah, it's mostly just because my given name is super common." Definitely no other reason in *this* political climate.
The cards see all.
my cat has been helping me write emails by sitting on my hands and completely covering my screen. very helpful. the helpfulest, even

Skirts are super comfy and there is zero reason for them to be gendered. This should not be a hot take in the year of our Lord, 2026. (Seriously, how often do you see Jesus in pants?)
"Slay Caesar" vs "Slay, Caesar" - why punctuation matters
Could even drop the comma for a lot of people tbh.
Doubly so if they're also trying to force ChatGPT into every aspect of their business. LLMs have a place, but force-fed into every aspect of an end-user's digital life ain't it.
Gonna be honest, if the next job I get is yet another case of interpreting "data analyst" as "fix our horrendously jury-rigged data management system", I'm going to strongly consider a complete career change.
Working remote with a cat is a lesson in quickly shifting to things that will not either be deleted or send gibberish to your CEO when your cat inevitably walks across your keyboard for the fifth time in the last hour.
Ah good, the dude who established the "Board of Peace" and won the "FIFA Peace Prize" is attacking *another* country without congressional approval. Very normal and peaceful action to take.
Now that I actually *have* a void of my own, I can go back ~30 years and say that the portrayal of Salem in Sabrina the Teenage Witch was surprisingly spot-on.
4. People magically forget all the *other* bad things we're doing.
