The best thing about building a marketing tool?
It helps me with marketing.
Which is the only thing I dislike about Bootstrapping.
Cross publishing posts never looked this good before. π§βπ³
Good progress, but still quite a few bugs to fix.
Working with the different API providers (especially Threads) is a nightmare.
Dream vibe code location.
Many people fail not because they mess up something in the process, but simply because they didn't even try.
I want to avoid spreading too thin and having a lot of stuff that half works. decided to scrap adding any new features and just gonig deep on the stuff i have and polishing it.
Today's build in public progress:
- Started working on mobile compatibility.
- Secured the .com for crosspublish
- Queueing and scheduling logic bug fixes.
My biggest concern is scope creep.
Instead of adding new stuff, the stuff I made just needs to work.
Thanks for the feedback, aman!
Which design is cleaner? Top or Bottom?
Thx :)
Here's another clean landing page asset for the MVP.
Would've taken days without AI, so thanks Claude :)
Dream vibe code location.
Build in public update:
β’ Added post queueing for fixed time slots
β’ Built workspaces to group related accounts
β’ AI assistant for grammar fixes & sharper hooks
This week's goals:
β’ Billing with Stripe's managed payments
β’ Show sensible errors in the UI
β’ Integrate Instagram and Facebook
It's 2:00 am, I've finally managed to send a GIF via the X API.
Prompted Claude to oblivion for this.
Enough for today.
Today's progress Build in Public update:
- Designed the new draft settings modal.
- Added guard against account stealing across social sets.
- Created a new draft account connection modal.
Back on Bluesky after 6 months.
Anyone still here? π±
P.S. If this shows up in your feed, itβs the first post successfully scheduled with Postfern π₯³
P.S.S. Video demo of Postfern coming soon & excuse the scrappy landing page if you come across it.
Here's what I'll be sharing:
β’ Building a SaaS for my own workflow
β’ Challenges I face going from 0 to 1
β’ Product and design decisions along the way.
Hello Bluesky, it's time to build in public again!
Lately Iβve been building Postfern, a tool to help:
β’ Post more consistently across socials
β’ Create better written content
It's a work in progress, and I'll be building it in public to test the waters.
Throwback to my first entrepreneurial hustle.
Selling these one-wheeler things.
I would get the strangest looks from people on the street π. We were among the first to distribute these things in Poland.
Handing out the flyers was super easy because everyone wanted to know what we were riding on.

Refining my learnings:
If a startup idea has been done exhaustively, it's not an immediate red flag.
It's a sign that there's demand.
But I personally would prefer a working solution over a shaky MVP. Most people do.
So quick and dirty MVPs work better for stuff that's new with few competitors.
DB Chat PH Launch Learnings:
- Desktop apps need code signing otherwise users get annoying install warnings
- First marketing attempt showed that it's hard to find people who share my excitement for chatting to a DB
- The use case of chatting to a database has already been covered exhaustively
wait... so status games are also played outside the corporate world? π
oh man... I'm really sleep deprived at the moment π΄ Long nights of building after work come at a cost
Didn't want to overthink the product hunt launch.
So I just launched the mvp.
DB Chat connects to your database and lets you chat with it.
The schema is passed as context to the Ai, so the SQL is spot on.
