I want to be part of a group of public health advocates that helps push our regulatory agencies to regulate all aspects of food production much more aggressively, prioritizing health over profit.

There is little doubt that our ultra-processed, chemical-laden food is making us sick, and there is significant evidence that glyphosate may be playing a leading role in the surge in obesity, diabetes, autoimmune diseases, and even cancer in young people.

Despite compelling evidence of glyphosate’s toxicity and the increasing evidence that it has powerful antibiotic properties, corporate interests, and regulatory agencies continue to assert its safety. These campaigns have successfully obfuscated the real health crisis in our food supply.

Over the past 30 years, the health of Americans has sharply declined, coinciding with the widespread use of glyphosate-based herbicides like Roundup in our food. Recent scientific research consistently highlights the toxicity of glyphosate, raising serious concerns about its safety./1
