We're excited to share that the renovation project at Kimbell Playground (1901 Geary Boulevard) has been completed. As part of the project, the synthetic turf on these fields was replaced after 14 years of use.

Grateful Dead Rose Commemorates Band’s 60th Anniversary Specially bred rose finds a home in Golden Gate Park’s historic Rose Garden.

8 newly developed ‘Grateful Dead’ hybrid tea roses have been planted in the front right bed of the garden. Vibrant, fragrant, & deep red in color, the roses were bred by JB Williams & Associates (JBWA), a renowned third-generation rose breeding family based in Maryland.
