I’m really grateful to be surrounded by people who are patient with me, who try to understand me, and who give me the space to grow. That means more to me than I probably say out loud.
I want to stay. I want to grow and change for the people I love and the friends I care about. Even when it’s uncomfortable, even when it’s hard, I want to be someone who works through things instead of walking away from them.
I used to think leaving was easier than staying and actually facing the parts of myself that needed to change.
But I don’t want to be that person anymore.
I’ve been doing a lot of reflecting lately, and I can admit I wasn’t always the person I should’ve been. There are people in my past I wish I handled things better with, and I’m sorry I couldn’t be better for them at the time.
