Now we’re raising $50,000 to equip his unit – the Azov Brigade’s special unit “Tuman” (“FOG”) with 50 sniper scopes to improve precision and effectiveness on the battlefield. You can support Katran via this link: dzygaspaw.com/clear-sight...

And now the support of allies matters more than ever.
Unfortunately, the war is always somewhere nearby.
“Don’t think it will never reach your life, cause history shows it always does. And the people fighting right now are buying you time. The question is what you will do with it", - Katran said.
Katran also remembers what it was like in 2015, when foreign volunteers came to fight alongside Ukrainians and shared everything they knew about planning missions. Back then, Ukraine had motivation but lacked experience, and those foreigners made a real difference.
What keeps him going after a decade of war? Two things. The simple truth, that Ukraine is the only home he has, and someone has to defend it. And his comrades, guys who are still held in russian military prisons after the Battle of Mariupol. He hasn't forgotten them.
Since then, he has served in multiple positions, including as a sniper and a combat instructor. Today, his main mission is training soldiers: helping them reach their best results in shooting and other combat disciplines. Over ten years on the frontline have made him a very experienced soldier.
After May 2nd, 2014, when the pro-russian movement in Odesa was mostly defeated, some guys from his group joined volunteer military battalions. Azov was one of the most professional and effective units at the time. So Katran joined his friend in this unit.
It started a year earlier, in 2014, when russian troops seized Crimea and pro-russian separatists began spreading across southern Ukraine. Katran was a student in Odesa at the time, and instead of watching the news, he joined a civilian defense group and fought separatists in his own city.
In 2015, a 21-year-old Ukrainian student graduated from university. Most people his age were looking for their first job. He packed his bags, bought a train ticket to Kyiv, and went straight to the Azov recruit center. He took the call sign Katran and has been fighting for Ukraine ever since.
We hope that someday we will celebrate peace and the rebirth of our country. Together. 🇺🇦
Dear all! Today most Ukrainians are celebrating Easter (our beloved Catholic and Protestant friends did it a week ago).
This is a great holiday of rebirth and survival, which feels deeply symbolic to us right now.
So we want to thank you for standing with us through these dark times.

True love can’t be bought, this doggo proves it 🐾

It's a genuinely random mix of handmade, military, beautiful, weird, and "why do we have this?". We love all of it equally.
And all of it would bring joy and meaning to someone, not just sitting in our storage room.
Grab something before it's gone!👇🏻
