Started watching #DouglasIsCancelled. I’m halfway through episode two and my anxiety is ratcheting up because of the ignorance of Douglas and Madeline being borderline sociopathic. Honestly don’t know if I’ll be able to watch more :( It’s making me feel ill.

Curious things happening over on Meta. I had threads open on my desktop, and while I was looking at the screen FIVE posts became unavailable. All were political. One of them was by someone I follow - and they're no longer in my follow list. Plus last night's suspension & my posting restriction...

Oh and it apparently has been extended to threads…but not FB? 🤷🏻‍♀️

As soon as that screen cleared, they announced my account had been reinstated.

7 minutes from suspension to reinstating, and I have no idea why.

The appeal consisted of me providing my email (which I already had, but they sent a security code to). Then I provided my mobile number (which they also had, but sent another security code to via WhatsApp). Then they said “thanks, we’ll be in touch” 🧵

So I was casually scrolling through Insta tonight, when I got a full screen notification from Meta advising that my Instagram account had been suspended. From the little info I was provided, it looked like I was reported for spam? 🤷🏻‍♀️ so I appealed the decision. 🧵

It's weird that Looking for Alaska is the second-most banned book in the U.S., and mostly challenged by evangelical Christians, because the novel is about Radical Hope and how forgiveness is available to all people at all times, which are Christian concepts I wrote about because I'm a Christian.
