Something I really want to see in the angel beach scene: most of the flashback is animated the way angel’s gf was in the movie. His memories are shown in a lower fps watercolor style, when in walks makima in the standard anime style.

I think if fujimoto wasn’t so in love with the very specific way he told his story he would be milking the hell out of part 1’s popularity. He’d be spamming aki/power flashbacks every arc, reze would show up in the last arc in a super saiyan-esque nuclear bomb form, arai would be there somehow

The more I think about this the more on board I am with the ending. Too many people hesitate to try changing the world in fear that it’s not enough, but even the smallest actions can make a difference. A perfectly grounded thematic finale (and such) in my eyes, makes me wanna go out and be better

Denji pulling up Asa before she fell down did more to save the world than anything he did as chainsaw man. You don’t need to be extraordinary to be a hero.

I don’t think any series has engaged my brain the way chainsaw man, especially part 2, has. There’s such a uniqueness to this part that makes me look at the story from so many different angles, I’m gonna miss it a lot
