Todays Twin Spin with a great 2-sider by The Rooks with "Gimmie A Break", a song that perfectly captures The Beatles' merseybeat sound, thanks to guitarist Rich Dangel. Rich is joined here by Kent Morrill (organ), as they were both founding members of The Fabulous Wailers, out of the Tacoma/Seattle area. The A-Side of the single is "Bound To Lose", on Mustang Records (3008) from June 1965. The band probably derived it's name from the many shows The Wailers played at The Castle (club). Rich later founded Floating Bridge. Both songs linked in the comments below. Enjoy! ..♪♫♪
