the slippery sloping roads to rebellion (corruption?) or compromise (second corruption?) plausible and appealing without making the choice overt for players. Games like Zephyr likewise make an alien culture accessible and frame it in an opportunity to compare it to the real world~ 2/2

There are some surprises in all sorts of places. Pendragon's balance of force and agency in shaping the urges, personality, and actions of its Knights is fascinating. Dialect's way of confronting players with some painful truths about time and culture, likewise. SLA Industries manages to make 1/2

We can get caught up on time, place, and people. We can think it's too late, or too early, or that someone else will do something, or it will be okay. The universe doesn't share the Truth or tell us when and how to act. That leaves the recognition of harm done to others.

In the Nibiru TTRPG, the Vagabonds whose lives you'll inhabit may recall memories from anything ranging from a collage of human recollections, to the virally-transmitted memories of AIs turned sentient, and even to remembrances connected to places and things.

One of many, many Zocchi sets of dice: this one translucent in the brilliant sapphire blue coloration. An expanded set with multiple d4, d6, d10, d%, and d20 - as Lou intended~
Lou Zocchi, through his sharp-edged, high-impact, and creative dice added a lot to my experience of #RPG dice rolls, the thrill of launching new games, the fun of sorting through old dice bags, and the certainty that somewhere among all the dice I had just the right one for an occasion - odd or even
Thumbs up for the calm and dignified camp dog supervising the people for maximum safety~
To know thyself is vital. I am really happy to see what actions you are taking for yourself. Keep going!
I am still curious about your answer to my question, and slightly more certain that you might be able to answer it~
So, in concert with the urges to do the Jeremiah Johnson nod and to dig deeper into how we as gamers actually work with the conversational medium of play to get more satisfaction from our play, I ask: What is the rest of your style? How do you help them feel paranoid? How do they share and use it?
...their feelings of paranoia (or whatever) and describe their actions, reactions, and interactions as characters and/or players, and how do we as a GM work with these communicative and descriptive approaches to facilitate more instances of what the group sees as the best moments of play? 2/3
When I read this as a frequent horror and pulp game GM, I smile and nod at the hyperbole, but at the same time, I am also urged to add that there is more to a person's style in their role in play than something we try to elicit from the other players. In play, how do those players communicate... 1/3
Cover for Dagon #12. A corpse rises from the grave.
NEW QUEST: I'm looking for "The Acolyte" from DAGON fanzine.
Sandy Petersen wrote a column for DAGON that appears in #11, #12, #14, #15, #16, and #20.
I am looking for readable photographs or scans for the column for everything but issue #11.
If you have even one or them, I'd appreciate the help!
That is true: It consists of observations of and commentary on what has been allowed to take place on public streets. I should have put a warning on my post. I didn't think of it. The degree to which these things have been normalized has me wondering what price in horror will be required for change

It was very strange to finally see the first Tim's logo in Korea after decades of waiting.
They got off to a rocky start. I have yet to see one outside of Seoul, but that isn't unusual for most foreign franchises~
Crossed with Suits~
I am working through it slowly to enjoy it on a deeper level over a longer period of time before making my next SLA pitch~

People living up to the standard of being their best and doing the best that they can for others as the truest expression of who they are.
This is rare, or ignored, now.
It is in our nature to reject that challenge, but it is also in our nature to rise to it.
