Want something fun? One of our favorite hot air balloon festivals of the year is the Winthrop Balloon Festival. Two dozen balloons show up to fly in the snow covered mountains of the Methow Valley in Winthrop Washington. The event is free to come watch, and there are paid hot air balloon rides too!
