Listen, I know "toxic" is a little dramatic but it can also be apt. I used to link build. It's big business for a reason, and the financial incentive still generates bad practices. I've been part of great campaigns, and I've also seen all sorts of justifications for bad links.

In the spirit of Thanksgiving I will make one (1) positive comment about LLMs:

They've made it very easy to identify overused language and clichés.

They build sentences with statistical probability. So if it "sounds like AI" that probably means it's overused.
