For tattoo practice I got us one of those “bodymark” temporary tattoo pens and had @lilporkroll.bsky.social draw on me. It was nice to get preview the tickles to come and I learn that I wanted something bigger than first imagined. You can also buy premade temp tattoos too!

Dressing up and allowing yourself to try things, and maybe feel silly is really good for the soul! It takes strength to be vulnerable and try new things!

Some you may love more (or less) than you imagined! So it’s good to find low risk options and safe space/friends to try them with 👺🤠👀

Photo of a tray of homemade “pop tarts”. They have a golden brown flaky crust and through their vent-hole slices, we can see blueberry goat cheese filling. The generous egg wash and a sprinkle of cane sugar give the tops a nice toasty look.

In process photo of “pop tarts” where most assemble is complete. The last pop tart does not have its hat on yet. We can see a healthy lump of goat cheese and blueberry filling on the flat pastry rectangle. For this process, I cut into rectangles store bought frozen puff pastry, docked the whole surface (probably not necessary) and pre-crimped the edges of each. then spread egg wash on those edges for sealing after placing the filling as shown here. The filling is goat cheese creamed with sage, and blueberry pie filling from a jar that I juiced up by simmering warm and peppery spices in brandy.

Made a nice homemade pop tart using frozen puff pastry and jar of pie filling. These are really great considering how relatively quick they are to make. I recommend everybody try it! These have a blueberry goat cheese filling! Notes about that and prep in the image alt texts
