Todd: Canadiens' Slafsquatch leaves giant footprints in Tampa Suddenly, the Habs have momentum and home-ice advantage in a series in which they were underdogs.

My column on the rise of the mighty Slafsquatch and the Canadiens willing their way to a win in Game 1.

Maybe it was supposed to be a "fan?" You know, the type who starts ragging on the refs before the ouck drops?

Donald Trump is a world menace. He is willing to wreck the global economy, start a war anywhere he chooses and use war to grift the markets.

He has to be stopped and since he's surrounded by cowards, the world has to find a way.

No, I don't know what that might be.

Catching up on my reading and Jack’s column is great as usual.

"More significantly, the Canadiens made a simple, two-word statement Sunday night: “We’ve arrived.”"

Tampa is in for a fight if they think this one’s gonna be easy like in 2021. It won’t!

For the record, for anyone who’s forgotten, it’s sheer madness for a president to contradict himself nearly every day. It’s profoundly wrong that we can’t trust the veracity of a single thing that he says.

Hehe.

My fatal flaw.

Darn. Guess I blinked and missed it. Especially strolling through the F1 paddocks on a hot spring afternoon.

Everywhere you look, so many beautiful... cars.

Cowan: Hall of Famer Chris Pronger can relate to Juraj Slafkovsky's Canadiens journey Decorated defenceman and Canadiens winger both faced the pressure of being top NHL draft picks.

My column on Hall of Famer Chris Pronger @chrispronger relating to the pressure on Juraj Slafkovsy after being No. 1 overall pick at NHL Draft and liking the way the Canadiens were patient with his development, which is now paying off big-time #Habs: montrealgazette.com/sports/hocke...

My column Juraj Slafkovsky, dude of many names and hero of the hour.

Now I have to ask Denis whether it was supposed to be Slafsquatch (after the big-footed beast) or Slafquash (after the vegetable.)

Or all of the above.

US spending on ‘reckless’ Iran war could have saved 87m lives, says UN Head of UN’s humanitarian agency frustrated that $2bn weekly cost of conflict comes amid big cuts to aid budgets

If the Canadiens can get on a real playoff run here we could have a rare conjunction.
The Montreal Grand Prix is early this year, the weekend f May 22-24 rather than Father's Day.
If the Habs make the third round it will be racing cars and hockey stars.

Not to mention our, uh, natural beauties.

Thank you. One of my favourite things I've ever experienced is when Montreal gets on a playoff roll after a long brutal winter. The energy in the city is incredible.

Good. I was in the car when my editor called to which it was and I couldn't check with you so I had to make a guess.

Yep. Better than most hockey nicknames but I'm mostly looking for the plays on his team, which are pretty good.
