We should not move on from the President threatening to annihilate a civilization.

I’ll never get over the fact that Donald Trump threatened to bomb an entire country into extinction, and Congress didn’t have the spine or decency to reconvene to stop him.

I'd really like to see leadership calling for impeachment and removal, regardless of whether they have the votes to get it done. Same way we called for marriage equality before we had the votes. A leader's job is to lead. If a genocidal threat isn't impeachable, then nothing is.

When Trump blinks tonight, remember...we may have dodged a disaster temporarily based on a pathetic face-saving ploy...but there is still a raving lunatic in charge of the world's strongest military.

Pete, you're one of my favorite politicians, but you need to be more explicit here than "rein him in." You need to be calling for the 25th Amendment to be invoked by his Cabinet. Please be as clear as AOC on this.

It’s hard to overstate how immoral and wrong it is that Trump is likely sending American soldiers into harm’s way for no good reason. Every American who voted for this man to lead America have aided and abetted this tragic mistake.

Any President, regardless of political party, who threatens to order the United States Military to commit war crimes needs to be impeached immediately.
