You could also give the English dub a shot, I was impressed by how well done it was!

OH my gosh so glad you tuned in to it! It is a lot to digest in the first few episodes, but the lore/world-building is super interesting! Hope you stick with it!

🚨 PSA: if you randomly get an invite from someone in your extended network to join a platform called Gain Rep, DO NOT CLICK THE BUTTON TO JOIN. This thing is a scam!

I’ve also been enjoying the hell out of this show!
Uh, quite the opposite?? I think you've PEAKED, my friend!! 🤩
HOLY COW that is incredible!!!!
It's 24/7 ad-free, uninterrupted music in 30+ channels. Forget all the lo-fi hip-hop streams on youtube that all sound the same — there's something for everybody here, and you'll actually (re)discover tunes old and new.
A moment of zen: rediscovering Soma.fm and loving how the streaming radio platform has remained largely unchanged since its inception in the early 2000s. This place carried me through many late nights in college, and I'm so glad to see the listener base it's built is still going strong!
Despite having recovered from covid, I still have lingering symptoms like occasional coughs and phlegm. Can’t figure out if this is just some post-covid thing, or if it’s because of all the bad air from the recent wildfires? I wear a mask every time I go out, but know it can only do so much
Also, please share this, since I think not enough people know about this service:
SAMHSA's Disaster Distress Helpline (DDH) is the first national hotline dedicated to providing year-round disaster crisis counseling:
Call or text 1-800-985-5990.
Second covid test done 48 hours later confirming that I am now fully negative! No faint line on the T column this time!
Duncan’s post directly above an onion article saying ‘frustrated wildfire spends hours stuck in LA traffic. ‘
Love it when a screenshot works out.
Ok gonna look into it then, thanks!
Does it help with nasal drip? Because congestion isn’t the issue right now, it’s the constant runny nose that’s causing me problems

And of course, the poor quality these past few days have probably not been helping either
My covid symptoms are finally starting to subside (hooray for being able to taste things again), but the cold I had on top of it is still being incredibly disruptive in my day-to-day. Feel as though every 10 minutes I have to rush to the bathroom to blow out my nose or cough up phlegm (sorry tmi)
i wanna celebrate your birthday with you, fires be damned! let’s make it happen once this shit settles down!
oi oi oi why is watch duty showing winds blowing eastward for the Eaton fire? Stop that plssss
Some good news from this morning (but I’ll test again in 48 hours to be safe)
Also just started watching S2 of Squid Game to distract myself from looking at news. Is it a good idea to watch a stress-inducing show to take my mind off other stress-inducing real world matters? Probably not lol
Meanwhile, am still dealing with having Covid, but it looks like some of my sense of taste/smell is coming back at least!
I ended up extending my stay for two more nights at my hotel just in case.
Some good news today that gave me a moment to breathe: my area got downgraded to a level 2 evac warning this afternoon. Of course, anything could change at a moment's notice (esp. since winds are supposedly going to pick up again tomorrow), but I'm praying that this is a good sign
oh no, I’m so sorry to hear the news about your co-worker 😢
Lol thanks both of you. Yeah, mainly avoided contacting anyone for a place to crash due to fear of spreading covid. Though @swinku.bsky.social did reach out, so I might take them up on their offer later since I can at least quarantine in the guest room if needed.
Thank you. It was an ordeal—but fortunately I’m one of the luckier ones whose neighborhood hasn’t been hit by the spread of fire yet. I feel so heartbroken for all the families that have lost homes so far 💔
Stay safe out there
