Me to 3yo: What do you want for your birthday party theme?

3yo: “Poopoo & peepee theme! We can get apple juice for the pee, so a skeleton pees and you drink the skeleton pee but it’s okay because it’s juice”

Me: ..K I was thinking like “dinosaurs” but let’s put a pin in “piss fountain of the dead”

Whenever I'm in a subtropical Asian city, I am strongly reminded that Mother Nature is greedy and will take back this planet if given the slightest chance. (laudatory)

Yes. And Hillary had the same effect. I was literally weeping in the voting booth each time. And I shared a huge hug with the poll worker afterwards.

It is tax time so every self-employed person I know is talking about health insurance and the paradox that earning more money to pay for higher premiums then makes you ineligible for the subsidies so you actually end up with less $.

Fixing this mess is what our government SHOULD be working on.

Trying to remember how long it's been since I was in the HKG airport - I think going on 10 years.

Used to fly over at least 4x a year when I was still working.

It's a very odd feeling.

Ha-Ra Club, the Tenderloin’s newest oldest bar, wants to be a dive forever In 1956, a wrestler and a boxer opened a bar together in San Francisco. 70 years later, not much has changed.

I remember going to this place about 20y ago and absolutely loving it. No BS, just a bar. Quite a rare thing in SF, even then.

Joel Osteen left people to drown in the flood, rather than let them in to his mega church during hurricane Harvey.

Mattress Mack opened all of his mega furniture stores to anyone who needed a safe place.

Fuck Joel Osteen!

SO AGREE! I wish there were a body choice that looked like me.

And I DGAF how aerodynamically horrible my Zwift Postal hat is - that's my jam and I'm sticking with it.
