Felt very privileged to meet @andyburnham.bsky.social and the local Denton and Gorton by-election candidate, Angeliki Stogia tonight. They are both super smart, driven by the right values and passionate about improving our area. Fingers crossed they can inspire a positive outcome next week.

Some of the divisive rhetoric and messaging flying about Denton and Gorton at the minute is horrendous. It's this kind of humour that helps bring some light to a pretty grim situation and I am all for it!

What a mess. Gutted for you Andy, and as a Denton resident, I'm gutted for our area. It's going to be a tough by-election and labour now need to be fully aligned behind the best possible candidate. Hopefully this can still happen. Take it easy, your time will come.
