Apple TV announcers are SO BAD

The Blue Jays broadcast talked more today about loonie dogs than Jackie Robinson.

People rag on Buck but this is one of those days where his time in the league has lent to poignant personal stories about the impact Robinson had on the game.

This has been disappointing.

The performative bullshit that MLB and baseball media does every year for Jackie Robinson Day has never rung more hollow. A bunch of tweets all asking players of colour "what he means to them" and not holding white players accountable for the task of maintaining the space Jackie fought for.

Jays reddit used to be a TON of fun, but over the past year it's just been overrun by some of the most cantankerous and confrontational doomers that have just sucked the life out of that place

I really hope that y'all out there find a love that's as strong as Ken Rosenthal's open disdain for the Blue Jays
