I was slightly surprised to find our #EliteDangerous Titan, hokey-cokey-Joe, hovering somewhere over the US this morning.

Yeah, didn’t have a gaming pc. I was lucky to have an Xbox (a gift)
Didn’t get pc until 2022 - after we lost support for the game on Xbox.
I was convinced loss of Xbox support was game over for me.
I was fortunate to move to pc and I don’t take it for granted. Hard these days.

I followed and we played hours together (I dare not tally the hours!)
We first played Elite together in '84 in multi-crew (me on flight controls him on weapons) ;o)

I can relate. I was xbox player.

For some time, felt I'd never play again. The sense of abandonment hit hard. Had clocked many hours playing Elite with family.

Initially I didn't own a pc. Pawned some silver bullets (Lone Ranger ref) and got one for a return to the game.

Just dawned on me that I'm around 10 or 11 hours late with the #EliteDangerversary ...

....My delayed reply - it's not my fault, it's my horses fault... Honest!

Anyway - re. sharing highlights - I sort of suck at taking pictures in game... Irionic really - was a photographer for many years. ;o)

Those situations can be tricky in a regular household.

I'm lucky. I have children, plus a goat in the loft, a horse in the kitchen, a shrew in the biscuit barrel, bats in the understairs cupboard, and a family of aardvarks.

Sure it's an awkard arrangment, but I always have someone else to blame.

Exactly the vibe I got - Spinal Tap - I was picturing a very poorly scaled tiny Thargoid Titan slowly descending from above the stage whilst little AX pilots danced around it
