i feel a little apologetic because in this way it means my art is probably less emotional or whatever but i don't think it's really a bad thing in retrospect, i'm still drawing what i like and if i want to make more colorful garbage then so be it

even though sometimes my art can be forced out of me i never really draw anything i *don't* want to (aside from commissions lole) and as much as i want to make more 'poignant' and emotional drawings how i feel at one point isn't enough to make me want to finish rendering it later

i did enjoy making those but i don't think they're that indicative of a lot of how i feel/want to make anymore; unfortunately i'm not implying i'm happier and therefore have less of a need to make those drawings but those drawings were very poignant of a different me that i'm not today

i wonder if anyone actually got sad i started drawing less darker/vent oriented art compared to like, 2023/2024 i know likely nobody cares but it's really weird thinking about how huge of a gap there is between the compositional styles i used to have
