Btw, it's worth looking at the whole papyrus, because besides the antelope and the lion playing 20 Squares, there's also a hyena, fox, and wildcat herding goats and geese, one of them playing the double flute. And the games got a little spicy because the lion ended up in bed with the antelope.

OpenAI shutting down Sora video-generating app Disney's deal with OpenAI, which the companies struck in December, will be dissolved.

The entire business model of OpenAI has been creating online panic among creatives and selling logs of that existential dread to investors as proof that "there is something of value to this tech", even if it literally loses you money the instant you turn it on and there are no successful use cases.

Imagine if in the future another civilisation will rise and it will be bigoted as ours and they'll find furry art and will be all "these were fertility symbols " while people here just want to fuck to have a good time.

You can be a good person & still have a past that would ruin your reputation at the wrong dinner table. Life is weird like that. Sometimes your worst years are what make you better later. And sometimes the reason you're so careful now is because you remember the damage you were capable of. That's the uncomfortable origin story of a lot of good people. Turns out shame can grow a conscience if you let it.

A royal portrait of Princess Celestia from My Little Pony: Friendship is magic. She is painted in a realistic style, standing in front of a stone wall with a sun etching on it. She has a raised hoof and large flowing mane and tail that look like they are made of plasma.

A few years ago I was compelled to paint two portraits of Princess Celestia and Princess Luna from MLP:FIM. I left them out of my art book due to trademark concerns, but I can share here the two pages I would have put in the book, complete with my notes to the pictures. 1/4

My photo shows part of a limestone wall panel carved in bas relief from the Fifth Dynasty mortuary temple of king Userkaf at Saqqara, Old Kingdom, 2465-2458 BC. It shows a Hoopoe, a crested bird with black and white wing pattern, and an ibis, with long curved beak, amongst papyrus plants in the marshes of the river Nile. My photo was taken in 2022 at the Egyptian Museum in Cairo.
