I’m not making any plans. European, Australian and New Zealand Conferences is where I hope to show up, and perhaps some Canadian regional events. Sorry Friends.

I did have to google Schleich though. Never heard of them.

Attacked by a sheep? Nah, I’m fine with 1 real sheep. I’ll just speak Canadian to them to confuse them if they’re in a fuss - Canadians and New Zealanders are sensible, peaceful people. The correct answer is leave the sheep alone and they won’t attack you. Final answer, for the win!

In 9 1/2 months I will be 55. Hey I can still Immigrate to New Zealand. Looks Like DBA is on Tier 1 of the Green List of In-demand jobs. Now I just need a Job offer!

Yeah, I’m eating a pan of Nanaimo Bars and hoping it wipes out all memories of the event.
I’m 1/4 way through the pan.
No luck yet, so I will continue eating. Maybe the addition of a coffee would help. With Bailey’s perhaps!

Yes, this tends to be my most productive time too, but at the expense of Deep Sleep stages.

I’ll be lucky if it hits 9… 6 right now.

Had a 1 hour Power BI Intro session today. 12 minutes into the session my video subsystem crashes. Teams continued, attempted recovery a few times before rebooting. The PC started up at turtle 🐢 speed. Demo Gods were upset with me today.

Unfortunately, #PowerBI does little to help you compare changes across versions, or indicate "who made what change, when?" 😭
But don't be discouraged! @sqlsocialite.bsky.social has a solution using Git and the .pbip file format. 😄

Struggling with Paginated Reports which is served by DAX, with parameters, and my gosh why does it always break the report when I make a minor change to the DAX... It seems I have to delete the parameter all over again to get it linked back up... is this just me...?

To be clear, I'll be cheering Stephanie Bruno (wait, is she not on Bluesky?) and Shannon Lindsay ( @shan-gsd.bsky.social ) on as they conjure up their magic! They are luminaries in our community. I'm so lucky to know them. I'll be helping attendees during lab time, as they work on magic potions.
