Notes on Puzzles I mostly donโ€™t play chess anymore โ€” itโ€™s too addictive, and tends to take over your brain in a way I donโ€™t like โ€” but one habit Iโ€™ve retained is solving puzzles.

I enjoy that thereโ€™s a soft norm of โ€œdonโ€™t talk about AIโ€ on here

Was a similar tactic in old Twitter days. Idea is some % of people follow back. (People do this on LinkedIn too)

Nepo/Ding is such an exciting chess WC match. Some truly beautiful games. Turns out Magnus being impossible to beat made for boring chess.

Key for having decent meals here is to avoid going anywhere that's on Google Maps, b/c all the tourists flood those places and the whole experience deteriorates. Out of the way neighborhoods good to eat in for the same reason.

Japanese people def seem a little tired of tourists this time around. Wasn't like this a few years ago. (Understandable, there are tons around this season...)
