If only the sciences respected mediumship as something to be studied, when this realm likely holds clues to the pervasive quantum mysteries.

Actually a radical motion of non-local consciousness, or consciousness not strictly confined by the brain.

In the age of AI, neural-computational processes are eerily similar to a human brain, but this notion of "soul" or "spirit" is perhaps our great separator, yet it remains unclassifiable.

He also believes a living person can appear in two places at once, often while asleep, or in states of ecstasy. The spirit of a person can travel to another location and manifest itself, perhaps even in tangible form, though never fully detached from the living body elsewhere.

This combination is also used to saturate an inert object, like a piece of furniture, endowing it with a temporary "artificial life."

To achieve physical effect it must combine this "universal fluid" (an elemental substrate of existence) with the "animalized fluid" emitted by a living person, known as a medium.

Currently reading "The Mediums' Book" by Allan Kardec. He argues a spirit has a semi-material body called a "perispirit," not dense enough on its own to move solid objects.

Or perhaps what we "see" may be "accurate," but has no time tag attached, "when" timing matters significantly for meaning. Like if a fragment from 50 years in the future flashed across our mind on a random day, and we just think it's nonsensical

With this in mind, perhaps things can and do indeed function in forms of short-term and long-term "contracts" (for lack of a better word)

Do you think you can manifest different fate(s), or change your fate(s)... or are certain things "set" in ways that are unchangeable and unavoidable?

The phrase "if it's meant for you, you can't miss it" haunts me... what if that's not true?.... also equally haunting if true

Perhaps everyone has the ability to "see" in their mind what we would call psychic premonitions, as strange fragments that both exist and do not exist simultaneously like a SchrΓΆdinger's cat, not accountable as "one thing."

A picture of the video game case cover for the PlayStation 2 game, "Kingdom Hearts". Showing the protagonist, Sora, wielding a "key blade", surrounded by other Final Fantasy-style game characters, as well as Disney characters Goofy and Donald Duck; displayed artistically in front of a heart shaped moon. Rated E for everyone.

It reminds me of the opening scene in Kingdom Hearts ( #iykyk ).. I wanted to pick more than one character path, the warrior and the mystic, but couldn't. Makes me want to play the game again and make new choices, right? Good thing I believe in #reincarnation (3/3)

I think it's okay to grieve the phantom timelines, while recalling your good reasons for making the choices you did, that lead to the becoming of who you are now. (2/3)

A picture of The Tower card of the Marseille Tarot deck, labeled number XVI, showing a dragon-like plume of fire breaking the tower top; 2 identical characters fall from the tower as if splitting in two at the bottom, one in front of the tower and one behind it.

Reflecting on #TheTower card today... A card with many choices of interpretation! What's coming to me now is.. We often feel like we will be able to do everything, but sometimes life paths diverge and we must make a choice, one road or the other, and that choice can feel like loss. (1/3)

"How Cleopatra could manage to drink her vinegar-and-pearl concoction can be explained by the acid-base reaction that takes place, the acid being neutralized by the calcium carbonate, much like an antacid."

Two green men I've spotted on my trips round North Wales and the Borders. The first is almost hidden from view in Gresford Church, Wrexham, the other stares cheerfully down on the visitor in the church at Llangadwaladr on Anglesey.

"To evaluate the effectiveness of any discourse about possession, and this is a most important and unorthodox contribution to our post-modern scientific notion of mind, one criterion is to ask to what extent it allows for, rather than contradicts, these irreducible irrational spaces."

Newton's law of "equal and opposite reaction" -- in quantum mechanics particles are wavefunctions, which tell us probabilities, not certainties of positions πŸ€” + there are "virtual particles" like photons for electromagnetism -- does the law hold with non-local, probabilistic fields + abstract forms?
