My buddy reinstalling the bolts in my red 1995 Mustang GT with his gray 2011 Mustang
Gasket material that left the conversation.
I've been frustrated at work recently with a change in management. We lost 2 weeks of pay and now are constantly nitpicked. My car is apparently feeling the same way. It blew the water pump gasket. After spending 5 hours in an Autozone parking lot fixing it with a friend, I went home.

Well add Swahili to languages I am learning. Got a new employee who is genuinely positive with lots of personal responsibilities and I feel bad because although his English is solid for conversation, it sucks at work. I don't want him to be afraid.

Music note...when a band of any genre, mid song suddenly goes silent for a second or two and then picks up with either with an increasingly loud sound or a heavy percussion or the full band...*chef's kiss.*
My son and I were talking about music and that is something for me that never gets old.

A black pit/lab mix on me with her kitten, Sylvia, a tortie laying next to her.
Maria is 9 and still thinks every cat and squirrel want to be her friends. Pictured with her is Sylvie, her kitten...when we got Maria our Tortie at the time took her as a kitten.

If I ever can get a property I own, totally doing that. I ran into a "feral" cat I rehabbed a few years back at a pet store. The owner cautioned me that she had an attitude, no she didn't. Haha. She knew who I was and the owner did not even though I'd talked to the owner every day for a year.

Your plastics, tires, and windows are shining and I got most of the leaf junk out of your vents.
My kids and I were detailing the Stang for Mustang Day tomorrow at the museum and a neighbor jokingly asked if we'd wash her car, so I recruited her grandson and neighbor kid. Frankly I wish I would have had more daylight. π

My company is witnessing a pump and dump scheme. I've seen bad bosses get kicked many times, it sucks. This is my first time watching, with seniority, what happens when investors take over. And sadly I recognize that I'm about to be the first one to get cut because I care about my employees and/

a lot of people on a regular basis, you become very selective on who you remember. I remember the name of a legit star and a homeless guy in the same part of my brain. In defense of both, they are/were both awesome people so that is a compliment. That said I forget a very kind professional/

Unless there has been a follow up since, I do believe Guy Fieri. As an older millennial, I have no context for the Tate Brothers outside of their crimes. I don't know anything about their jobs, but I know their travel history through their crimes. When you are in positions where you meet/

A local bookstore that serves as a cat rescue just had a human pass away and the comment section is so tragic, because of course the human is holding a cat, so nobody knows which one died.
Like it's all just sad because they are nice people, but also the kitties.

Having met plenty of Iranians, I am actually not entirely sure how much of this is a jab and how much of this is genuine empathy. Yeah, their government sucks and this is the government, but a human wrote this. Anyone who has been behind bars can confirm that "white torture" exists here too.

Let's discuss the symbolism, dumbass, only an idiot would think that. Given your followers sometimes mistake Jedi as Jesus, the symbolism is pretty fucking obvious. You're genuinely made out of spare parts. The only/

I love my wife. She has a bad habit of getting me things that are thoughtful, but absolutely useless. She tries though. On some app she ended up winning me a tiny vacuum cleaner/blower for my car. I was extremely skeptical, but OMG....it is perfect for my Mustang, even the engine bay!!!

Had this happen with a guy who had a seizure at Chewy. I was the only member of management who cared and ended up bringing some of the folks who were shaken up over to my department. Now in manufacturing, I tend to do the dangerous jobs because I want my employees safe.

Working with older cars, there is a point where performance parts actually increase fuel economy. I'm not saying throw speed parts at Grandma's old Lincoln Town Car, but a few will increase efficiency. A few does not mean a Supercharger. Even new plugs and sensors can make a difference. /

A black and white picture of a Japanese woman wearing a white collared shirt
Thinking of Yoshie today, my husband's grandmother. When she was 16-years-old, she survived the fire bombing of Tokyo. Her mother and father did not. They did not die from the fires, they drowned. So many people jumped into a a canal to escape the fire that they piled on top of each other & drowned
