i think its more likely that those who dont get it will get confused and not use your website instead of "figure it out later". things like tiktok beat through the network effect so well because new users could open the app and immediately use it no login no nothing.

Could this be a field in user profiles so you don’t have to manually link any/all users? Could be like email verification
