The track is a tribute to the late Tom Petty and his SiriusXM show Buried Treasure. The verses are made up entirely of Tom’s song titles, and it meant a lot to have Benmont be part of it.

Fingerprints turns 19 today. This record was one I’d waiting a long time to make, an all-instrumental album where I could let the guitar do the talking. Creating it with so many incredible musicians was a true joy, and I’ll always be grateful it went on to win the Grammy.
