Just finished this, one word review “Excellent”
The soundtrack is excellent too as is the original score by Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross.

The empty windows of a church ruin and the windows of an early-20th-century office building beyond them. Temple Church is so called because the original church on the site was built by the Knights Templar. It was bombed in November 1940 during the Bristol Blitz, leaving it an empty shell. A monotone photograph of a group of office buildings along a riverside. At the centre of the image is a 43-metre-tall concrete tower. Its slightly bulbous head is twelve-sided and has a central band of vertical windows. Cheese Lane Shot Tower is one of only three such structures to survive in England. Shot towers were the most efficient way to produce shot balls (i.e.: ammunition for hunting rifles) in the 19th and most of the 20th century. From the top of the tower, molten lead would be poured through a sieve. While free falling through the empty tower, the lead would cool and form into perfectly round balls. These would land in a basin of water to be cooled further. Use of the tower for its original purpose ceased in the late 1980s. Designed by E.N. Underwood & Partners, 1969. Bristol, UK. This 1960s modernist tower was built so that molten lead could be dropped from the top into a tank of cooling water below. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cheese_...

Book 6 of 2026
𝘗𝘢𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘬𝘰 by Min Jin Lee
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
A brilliant combination of sweeping historical fiction and character-driven family drama; each character is wonderfully complex, nuanced, and organically woven into the novel’s historical backdrop.

Last night we lost the best man I’ve ever known, the man who taught me what it means to be a good Dad.
The man who made me an Evertonian.
Goodbye Dad, I’ll love you forever.

I genuinely have no idea how the Rebellion! exhibition is going to go down. It covers highly polarising subjects like trans rights, immigration, Brexit, war, and post-industrial decline. Will people align themselves with their ‘side’ on these issues? Impossible to tell. I’ve depicted everyone

I was delighted to welcome in Paris a delegation from the Netherlands who came to study the “15-minute city” concept in Paris.
It was a pleasure to welcome Dennis de Vries, Deputy Mayor of Utrecht—an iconic city that is implementing the “10-minute city” concept. I’m always happy to work with them 💫

The Moon is tidally locked so one side always faces us.
From that side, Earth is a permanent fixture in the sky 13 times larger and 43 times brighter than the Moon appears from Earth.
Four humans photographed this.
Every crater in this frame is older than any life on land.
