My sons creativity is booming with the board game Cora Quest, even at such a young age he resorts to a variety of problem solving strategies outside of combat and I encourage all parents to try it out!

One thing I miss about working in the tabletop industry is getting to go to UKGE freely, it was such hard work and stressful to capture everything happening on the weekend but it was fascinating to see so many cool hobbies on display in one place.

Years ago I worked on a Minecraft world as an adventure, it wasn’t for anything but as a creative outlet. My son is playing it today and I’m flooded with joy at his constant discoveries of what I built over a decade of play.

Tonight my son and I played CorasQuest (dungeon for kids) unfortunately it's quite combat orientated. I always attempt to get him to complete challenges on enemies that aren't combat specific. Tonight we had; lost dinner, consoling a sad goblin and prepping a shopping list for ratfolk. #ttrpg

Yes, this is unique. I saw once at UKGE was a chess game that involved joining the pieces together in a dance rather than combat. It was a great spin on the classic.

I don't think every game can boast a unique combat system based on cards or dice, my feed is flooded with it. Unless you have to clear a drainpipe with a spoon within a time limit and being chased by chinchillas, it's not gonna be unique to me.
