I know I've seen some articles and threads throwing around a notion of a 70-30 rule(that is, 70% human-made, 30% AI) but I think that's just general speculation and social wafting rather than anything legally concrete or binding

IIRC right now, the legalese is that it still requires a significant amount of the work to be human-made for it to count. The main rub is that each country and jurisdiction still doesn't really have an established hard metric for how much that is. (Here is a snippet from Canada's ruling for example)

The only reason I can see for them(and the industry in general) not pushing it is because of the recent Supreme Court Ruling that GenAI Content can't be protected by copyright, which effectively means any studio that pumps out GenAI risks their content becoming Effectively Public Domain upon release

My gut feeling is that people are just desperate for viable platforms de-centralize the current Corporate-centered Status quo after everything thats gone down the last while, and it happens to be a niche that includes them(not that that really addresses any of your points in itself though)
