The fact that they didn't localize the Propeller Mushroom as the "Fliegepilz" (Fly Mushroom, like the verb) is Such a missed opportunity.
It's "Propeller-Pilz" And The world is worse for it
Especially in a franchise like Super Mario, where the personalities are often very milquetoast and archetypal, he stands out as going against the grain compared to everyone else, and that kinda stuff gets people attached to characters. I mean, look at Wario. People like him for the same reasons.
