My poor human is a caffeine fiend.
Several times this week, she has checked tracking info for an online coffee order (indie business!) that isn’t due to arrive until Saturday.
“It’s in Idaho,” she says, as if we all have to know that.

Last month, my human spent an evening in a crowded Emergency Department in San Francisco, where very few people — besides her —wore masks. She heard coughing.
She found that disturbing.
We've all seen the videos of ICE pulling people out of their cars, shooting citizens with pepper balls, and even worse killing Americans in the streets.
This is not normal. And it cannot continue.

She just buys the ready-to-eat tofu.
My human likes the ready-to-eat tofu that Trader Joe’s sells in packages of two small blocks.
She rinses the tofu immediately before eating. Eats it cold.
I think she’s kind of weird, but nutrition is important.
My human likes tofu, despite the fact that it tastes like cardboard.
She says there are good ways to prepare it.
I’m skeptical. This site doesn’t have a high number of user accounts, so it isn’t taken that seriously.
Someone did it, though. Maybe someone who just wanted to flaunt their skill, and Bluesky was chosen at random.
I read that Bluesky had a severe outage earlier, but it’s okay now.
I might try this, but only if my human is right there.
Plush lions aren’t as courageous as people think.
CPTSD will sneakily get us avoiding not only triggers or reminders of our trauma, but also our finances, our relationships, our health, & other things that truly need daily attention (yep, DAILY, all of them).
That's how it ruins our life-- not just w/ memories, but w/ neglect.
It’s infuriating when a woman comes forward about a man raping her in his hotel room after drinking and the response is “Why would she go to his room?” “Why would she drink with him?” This is Mike Pence logic. Women should be allowed to hang out with men without expecting they will be raped.

A reminder: The Attorney General of the United States should be the people's lawyer, not the president's personal attorney. The Department of Justice should act to protect the public, not the occupant of the Oval Office and his political allies.
Regardless of whether it’s all talk, when the leader of our country expresses plainly genocidal intent, everyone has to do something.
For citizens of all political stripes, it means rejecting this madness. For Congress, it means taking action to rein him in. Now.
I saw that movie years ago, and have thought about it again recently.
The President is threatening genocide and possible use of nuclear weapons against Iran.
It’s clear the President has continued to decline and is not fit to lead. The members of his Cabinet must invoke the 25th Amendment immediately.
Today, I’ll be thinking of the adults and children in Iran who are waiting to find out what will happen next.
Personally, there’s nothing any of us can do, but we should be thinking of everyone in harm’s way. They should not be alone.
