This is just a "I was doing magazine stuff" nugget.

Caleb Williams was worst in the NFL in completion percentage over expected last year at -6.9%. He also had +28.8 EPA.

EPAs of every other QB since 2018 who was -5% or worse in CPOE: -51.5, -44.1, -43.5, -40.8, -108.7, -89.6, -50.5, -24.5, -50.4.

I mean, that's what the free agents were for. You can say they aren't good enough -- and I don't totally disagree -- but I don't think adding a rookie tackle changes the calculus at this point either. You can only have so many players on the roster and they picked the vets.

I don’t think it was trash last year. It wasn’t good, and Andrews had some bad games, but it was much better than 24.

I don’t think they think that. Signed Braden Smith, drafted Ersery last year in second round, they made Trent Brown a priority re-sign as the swing tackle. Could absolutely see them taking one earlier than the fourth but I think their real hole is iOL.

I want the record to show this is the only one I have done.

Also there are no trades and there's no way Nick Caserio will not trade.

What to get for the side of the ball that has it all? The battle on the offensive side of the ball to make things right is real. David Montgomery was brought in to fix the run game. There are new veteran offensive linemen at left guard and right tackle, ...

Did something weird and wrote about the side of the ball that's actually good and how you approach the draft with that.

Anyone who played for the 2025 or 2026 Mets is best-regarded as “eternally cursed” at this time.

Why do bash "dead-beat" fans for not being there for their Mets but we never question if the team has bad vibes? Or if they're just unpleasant to be around?

Commanders host several top players
April 15: The Commanders held an event for their big top 30 visit at a local Top Golf in Ashburn on Tuesday night; the last day to host players is Wednesday.

More than 20 players attended, including some of the top prospects. Those names included Arvell Reese, Sonny Styles, David Bailey, Rueben Bain Jr., Mansoor Delane, Jeremiyah Love and Carnell Tate.

With a need for a No. 2 receiver opposite Terry McLaurin, Washington had already hosted other potential first-round receivers such Omar Cooper Jr. Jordyn Tyson was scheduled to visit last week and Makai Lemon is scheduled to visit Wednesday.

ASHBURN, Va. – As far as first impressions go, the Washington Commanders and new quarterback Jayden Daniels don't need a mulligan.

After some draft-week speculation that Daniels wasn't pleased following his visit to Washington ahead of the 2024 NFL draft – the team taking a group of top quarterbacks and other prospects to Topgolf – the second overall pick clarified that he enjoyed the experience.

“It was cool. It was fun. To be able to enjoy a process with three other guys that I know personally and (have been) working out with," Daniels said Friday during his introductory news conference, less than 24 hours after Washington selected the 2023 Heisman Trophy winner with the second overall pick.

The Commanders took more than 20 prospects to Topgolf, including Daniels and Drake Maye, J.J. McCarthy and Michael Penix Jr.

I'm not joking when I say mRNA technology is more important than "AI" and it's a tragedy we're throwing billions into one while our government is aggressively defunding the other.

Democrats planning to run in November’s midterm elections have been advised not to antagonise pro-AI campaign groups that have amassed more than $300mn to fight for the industry’s priorities.
The warnings by top party consultants, corroborated by people close to four different campaigns and party strategists speaking on the condition of anonymity, come despite internal polling for Democrats showing widespread public support for tougher AI rules.

First & foremost, @lindseyboylan.bsky.social is more than deserving of this endorsement.

Second & just as important, fuck this headline. Lindsey didn’t accuse Cuomo of harassment. Cuomo harassed Lindsey. Period. She is not an accusor. She is a survivor-advocate. Show some respect. Report the truth.

A screen shot of a Reddit post detailing an exchange between HHS Secretary RFK Jr. and Rep. Hoyer during the House Appropriations Committee hearing.

Secretary: “We are now at 72,000 and we’re hiring 12,000 new employees. We will have made up all the employees that we lost and we’ve replaced them with a better group of people who are actually going to address chronic health.”

Rep. Hoyer: “Your judgment is that the the other uh 20,000 that were reduced not were not capable, were not motivated?”

Secretary: “It’s not my judgment. It’s the record. They presided over the biggest decline in health in the history of the world. We now have the sickest generation in history. We have the sickest population on the face of the earth. That is a failure of government. They weren’t looking at chronic disease. They were focused on other things and they did nothing to prevent the food dyes, the bad food, all of the things that are making us sick. It was their job to protect us and they did not do it. They failed at their jobs and if this was private industry, they would have all been fired. Oh, we did what we had to do to change the culture at these agencies. So, they’re now doing what they can do to pretend that they’re what they were hired to do, which is to protect the health of our country and restore us once again to the healthiest country in the world.”
