I spent Earth Day inside cleaning. My final chore was to take out the garbage.

My keys were missing. I panicked but saw a note near my door that read:

"hi I tried getting a hold of you but you didn't answer. You left your keys in the door so I brought them in."

I was an alcoholic from 2010 to 2020. I drank to mask my trauma & abuse. It destroyed my health both mentally & physically.

On April 19th, 2020 after an attempt to take my life I quit drinking.

Today marks my 6 years without alcohol. Never felt better, & grateful for a second chance.

I shaved my legs last night for the first time in a long time.

Tonight I'm going to finally use my IPL (Ulike air 10).

I can't wait to go out in shorts again, it's been too long...

It's going to make my miles long walks even better, plus it helps with my dysphoria.
