I see where that hand's going, Acheron

My most generous read on all these tooltips is "this was translated from another language into English by someone with a poor grasp of English." Which makes absolutely no sense with Blizzard being an American company and WoW being an English game.
My less generous read is AI is involved somehow.
No, the tendrils is the subject of the sentence, and have been found is the verb. It's a passive voice.
Rooting and damaging adventurers is a separate clause.
A better version of this would be:
"The first thing you need to know when [...] is that with so much magic in the air [there may be unforeseen advantages]. While in combat, Regeneration [etc]."
The last bit reads like a spell effect mashed into a piece of in-universe text with no regards for grammar or cohesion. If I was an English teacher, I'd give it an F.
This sentence makes no grammatical sense, and feels like three sentences frankensteined together. "The first thing you need to know" starts off okay, but "that with so much magic in the air" goes nowhere, immediately bulldozed by "while in combat"
It's also considered poor writing if you're not doing it for a specific purpose. One of those hammers in your toolbox that should only be used on a specific brand of nails.
It's not grammatically incorrect, it's just messy and unprofessional.
No, this is the passive voice. The action (finding) is performed by someone who isn't the subject of the sentence.
The passive voice isn't a grammatic tense. It's a sentence structure to indicate that something is being done to the sentence's subject, rather than by it.
"What's an expat?"
"It's short for expatriate. It means someone who lives outside their country of birth."
"...So you mean migrant?"
"No, sorry. That's my bad. We use 'expat' when they're white."
Depends on how you define cannibalism in this context I suppose. If you go with 'eats own species', then you're technically correct, but I feel that kind of goes against the spirit of the point here. If you go with 'eats people', on the other hand...
Just a normal Tuesday.
More and more I am becoming entrenched in my belief that in order to *want* to become some kind of powerful authoritarian, one almost *has* to be a pathetic loser baby child as a requirement.
Though if that's the case, I'm surprised you made it past the flamethrower tonfas before realizing fire is half her shtick.
The other half is chemistry! To make more fire.
Though Burnice is challenging my 'large breasts prominent in the character design means maternal-coded' theory. Though she seems more 'obliviously attractive' in her design.
I would say 'obliviously hot', but, well... In case the name BURNice didn't tip you off...
Thusfar, Sons of Calydon definitely is my favourite faction with my favourite chapter, and I'm not *just* saying that because half of them are lesbians.
All they had to do was make old twitter without the algorithm. That's all anyone wanted.
"The hunter is nothing without the prey Maie- I mean Xal'atath."
Having interacted with ASOIAF fans before? I can't really blame him.
I'd say it's 50/50 that, and 50/50 the showrunners very nakedly wanting to be done with the project and work on Star Wars instead (which, lmao, sure worked out for the best).
I see your point, and I respect it. But counter argument, Avacyn never got to step on me specifically.
It's cute how conservative queers think they're ever going to be anything other than 'a queer' to other conservatives.
Avacyn deserved better god-fucking dammit.
"Delivering 🌈✨Rainbow Warcrimes ✨🌈 right to your front door!"
This is some 'you better pay us for protection or *someone* might smash up your shop' ass mobster racket shit.
Men keep telling women that women need men to protect them, and to that I gotta ask...
Protect them from what, buddy? Protect them from what
A screenshot of a character from, presumably, the upcoming game The Blood of Dawnwalker, with a blurb from a Rock Paper Shotgun article that says "Blood of Dawnwalker CEO defends use of AI voice placeholders to save time"
I already wasn't interested in The Blood of Dawnwalker because the title is stupid and putting the whole thing on a real life clock would give me anxiety. You didn't ALSO need to throw in AI voices!
Cooking is already super stressful for me.
Cooking with other people in the same room is torture.
This, too, is yuri.
Oh that explains that then.
Make one post about the sexy rat being gay and Bsky blows up, I see how it is.
Sorry about that one, folks. It will happen again.
