Better get my hands on a few of these. New stamps in Germany celebrating 50-years of Georg-Forster Antarctic station. Of course after the protagonist of my forthcoming book “The Traveller”

Here are the dates for my UK publicity tour for
"The Traveller. The Revolutionary Life of George Forster and his Search for Humanity". Can't wait to tell you all about this man who tried to find what connects us rather than what sets us apart. And he was Humboldt's mentor.
Please come!

We mean the same on but there is a reason why I spell him with an e … which I explain in the book. He was baptised George and was George for first 22 years of his life.

When I followed George Forster’s footsteps through the South Pacific, we made a trailer for „The Traveller“. Forster was a man far ahead of his time. A man who fought racism and who believed in humanity. Book comes out in June 2026 #GeorgeForster #books

I can't wait for my readers to read it and to meet the extraordinary George Forster (who BTW was Humboldt's mentor). THE TRAVELLER will be published in the UK, US and Netherlands in June, in Italy in August and at the end of September in Germany. Other countries to follow.

I will never get tired of the moment when I receive the first copy of my book. 5 years... it all starts in my head but now it's really really real. An object with pages, words and illustrations.

Schoß Oberwiederstedt where Novalis was born. Rescued by locals from being razed during GDR times. Today a museum. I had the honour of speaking there yesterday to celebrate 25th anniversary of the Novalis-Stiftung.

I have amazing readers. I did a talk last night in Hermsdorf (it’s a pretty small town not far from Jena with 8000 inhabitants). More than 100 very smart people turned up on a Friday night to hear me talk about the rebellious young Romantics. I do love doing talks in small towns. #booktours

The marvellous Maria Popova @mariapopova.bsky.social just sent this amazing blurb for my new book "The Traveler" ... which is so much more than a blurb. I'm thrilled & humbled at the same time. Hallelujah.

Nature can make everything better. I was meant to be on the other side of the world and then this happened (plus 4 shooting stars). I made some good wishes. #signs
