We’ve reached the point where water should be re-nationalised and the companies that have taken advantage of this position ignored.

TBH, I know that this issue has existed for longer but we’ve now reached the point where what is the point in worrying about spooking companies that have invested money in these companies if the water that we drink in the Service that they provide is so poor that it’s making us ill and killing us.

Calls for change to rules after stretch of Thames fails to gain bathing water status Campaigners in Henley say insufficient number of bathers to qualify for status is result of poor water quality

Before we left the EU, we had some of the nicest rivers and cleanest beaches in Europe. Ever since then - the lack of oversight & greed that the quality of our water has dived, pardon the expression! We were constantly assured that this would never happen.

We can’t trust Palantir with our NHS data Is this really the company we should be entrusting with our health service’s digital architecture?

"Palantir is not just a problem of profiteering from our national healthcare system— it's a fundamental threat to the democratic control of our public infrastructure + the privacy of every citizen. By giving our taxes to this company, we are aiding their operations everywhere."

Right wing media can’t attack Starmer on Iran, the economy, rebuilding public services, and closer ties to the EU. All it has is this storm in a teacup which when compared to what the conservatives got up to over 14 years absolutely pails into insignificance.

Today’s the last day to register to vote for local elections on the 7th May. If you haven’t register & turn out. Especially if you’re 18-24 yrs who historically have the lowest turnout at all elections. Remember, if they can get into a local level it emboldens them! www.gov.uk/register-to-...

Once out of power, they’ll spend four years trashing any attempt to rebuild. Much as Biden faced. Due to the level of MAGA ownership of the media they will continue to brainwash the population. Once the initial euphoria of getting rid of Trump & his sycophants is over they’ll forget.

Oh it really can.

You put a bunch of corrupt, racist, incompetent, lying Trumpists in charge and things will get very much worse.
Potholes and empty shops will feel unimportant compared to the loss of the NHS, social care and a torched economy.

Petition: Apply to Rejoin the EU as soon as possible to increase growth in the UK We believe Brexit's not working. The OBR judges that the UK economy is smaller and trade is weaker because of Brexit, and it will just get worse. 10 years after the Brexit vote, let's apply to rejoin ...

Brexit is the elephant in the room.

It’s still here. Still shaping lives. Still limiting Freedom of Movement.

Time to stop ignoring it — and start fixing it.
