Here's a new one I'm working on called If It Happens Every Night. I'm just shy of 5 months sober now. A lot of the stuff I'm writing is centered around that, self-reflection, and letting others know there ain't no shame in getting clean. It could literally mean life or death for a lot of people.

I live in a pretty conservative part of the country and most people here who might have been "irked" didn't even know these protests were happening unless they saw them on the news. I really don't think they all that annoyed by it. They especially don't feel threatened by marching and signs.

I should just write and record one of those dumbass BEER TRUCK GIRL country songs and totally sell out instead of writing songs that make people cry.

It is fucking funny that the constitution doesn't say this, but the Declaration of Independence does, but these assholes don't know shit about either of these documents past 2A and "1A means I shouldn't face any social consequences for hate speech".

It's still crazy to me how little we talk about Bush v. Gore in 2000.

I wouldn't say the US was unabashedly leftist during WWII. We were still a capitalist country for the most part. The New Deal was definitely one of the more progressive policies, but I would not call it entirely leftist. Not to mention throwing Japanese-Americans into concentration camps.

Screw the US Constitution. We need to be looking at the Declaration of Independence. Specifically the part stating we have a right to alter or ABOLISH any government that does not serve the people.
