“Every tool available” to combat the effects of this administration looks very different from what we’ve seen from you so far. There are limits to what you can achieve in Congress, but as elected leaders you have celebrity, a platform, and access to vast amounts of capital. Some ideas to consider:
if a list is helpful, to combat stress:
1. Focus on health - real rest, not numbing; nutrition; stress-releasing movement
2. Focus on mindfulness - here & now, not what’s to come; breathwork; noticing triggers & doing body scans
3. Focus on others - helping others helps you feel less helpless
