It's that time of year, New Mexico — spring winds are here, and dust storms can appear out of nowhere!

And if you see fire or smoke while you’re out and about, call 911 and report it.

Pilgrim walkers are on the roads THIS WEEK. If you're driving the highways and back roads of northern NM, please slow down, give walkers plenty of space, and watch for groups and individuals along the shoulder. Let's keep our neighbors, families, and friends safe as they walk in faith.

Chag Sameach to all New Mexicans celebrating Passover. At the Seder table generations come together — grandparents, parents, and children sharing the ancient story, songs, foods. That bond between family and community is something every New Mexican understands no matter your background or tradition.

Proud to break ground today on the Keres Children's Learning Center at Cochiti Pueblo. New Mexico is already seeing the results of investing in early literacy — reading proficiency among Native American students in grades 3–8 is up 13 points since 2022, the biggest gain of any group in our state.

New Mexico believes the outdoors belongs to everyone and the New Mexico Outdoor Equity Fund is making that a reality. Velo Cruces and Every Body Rides with Grace are putting that vision into action in Doña Ana County, giving children with disabilities the chance to experience the freedom of cycling.

A Santa Fe jury decided that Meta is culpable for harming New Mexico teens. The verdict and $375 million civil penalty are powerful reminders that social media companies will be held to account for decisions that put Americans — and especially our children — at risk.

New Mexico is the only state in the country to fully replace expired federal health insurance subsidies — keeping an estimated 27,000 New Mexicans from losing coverage and adding 10,000 more. We are proud to lead the nation in protecting affordable health insurance.
