The half billion royals started with Elizabeth. She nabbed our cash. #AbolishTheMonarchy #QueenElizabethII
I have a thing called trigeminal neuralgia. It goes between mild and pretty severe. Tried every known treatment for it and gave up. Only thing that does dull it is good ol' green but that makes me a criminal in the antiquated UK. 🚬
My sense of Scottish schadenfreude is tingling given the media pish we have to tolerate....
It took three months for my social care employee vetting to complete. Why was that a more rigorous process than the one for US ambassador??? He actually thinks we're thick
He knew that UK-produced weapons were being used to kill civilians in occupied Palestine.
He knew that RAF planes were used to gather intelligence to help the IDF commit war crimes.
He knew that supporting the USA in attacks on Iran was never “defensive”.
Starmer is a liar.
I love Scottish footy, often argue with folk that it's a better spectacle than the dreary English premiership. It's a more working class affair too. We don't have the superstars but we make up for it in drama and genuine rivalry.
😂
I saw that! I wasn't sure if he was another Starmer but he seems to have the balls to rip it up so far. Time will tell but a great start
Zack Polanski on BBC Southeast,
"Rent controls would put £18 billion of purchasing power into communities than going to private landlords"
"We live in the sixth wealthiest country in the world there is no need for councils to be strapped for cash"
Pete Hegseth was 14 when Pulp Fiction came out and I’m sure he thought it was the coolest thing ever and consumed it exactly like a modestly able 14 year old
Which is exactly what the BBC is in Scotland. I cannot wait for the day we have our own apolitical media that fairly holds politicians to account on our behalf 🤷
We should be learning from other countries...
Rachel Reeves warns other budgets may be cut to lift defence spending.
Hitting the old, sick, disabled, public services doesn't produce a resilient society. How many will die?
Govt created £895bn QE to rescue banks, why not the same to rebuild society?
2010-2025: HMRC didn't collect £500bn tax.

I read this pish. All about how to "stop the SNP". No ideas about how to improve our lives and the benefits of the union, just about how to install a Unionist whatever the Scottish people vote for. For feck sake vote for Scottish registered parties in 3 weeks 🏴
It deserves to die, it's become a right wing doom loop telling me my country is shite all the time, offers safe harbour to peadophiles and ignores genocides. All whilst telling us to pay for it. Fuck that!
Jesus wept. Boycott the shit outta this. Fuckin Coldplay is the last straw even if we don't account for the 1936 Berlin Olympics vibe
Scotland is an outlier compared to most other developed nations.
Raising the school starting age to 7 and introducing a play-based kindergarten stage for 3 to 6 year olds would help boost education and child wellbeing outcomes.
She's a fucking immigrant herself!
Jeez I watched Debate night. Labour's Paul O'Kane was asked about Offord and went straight into a diatribe about how the SNP was to blame for being in cahoots with Reform. It's no wonder trust in politics is eroded. We must vote for independence to rid ourselves of hostile English parties
Scottish Green co-leader Gillian Mackay is standout contributor on Channel4 News' Scots leaders’ debate. Like Ross Greer in BBC debate her stance is crystal clear - opposing North Sea drilling, calling for wealth Tax & slamming Malcolm Offord who claims Glasgow is a ‘dumping ground’ for refugees.
Humour is so powerful 🤣

I see the Scottish government as doing their best to look after the people of Scotland without the full powers of a normal independent country. Whilst a neighbouring country does everything it can to tell us we're shite via politicians and media.
